Overview
The Population Health Analyst will work on the Value Based Operations team to conduct clinical, contract, and financial analysis to meet / exceed value-based benchmarks within the Home Based Primary Care business line of BrightSpring. This role analyzes a variety of internal and external data sets to facilitate meaningful insights that are used to improve effectiveness and timeliness of outcomes and performance strategy. Collaborating with internal stakeholders, this role will bring efficiency to team operations to decrease the administrivia of healthcare.
Ultimately, the work you do will have a direct impact on the growth of our value-based care success and our ability to care for more patients in their homes.
Responsibilities
Data Analysis and Interpretation
Provides leadership in the measurement and evaluation of value interventions.
Identifies benchmarks in performance that may include clinical quality scores, cost, documentation, and care team productivity metrics.
Determines opportunities and identifies solutions to improve capabilities and efficiency of care model interventions and / or variance analysis of program levers.
Assess opportunity for predictive analysis and clinical decision support to inform key business and clinical care outcomes.
Translates data findings for consumption across a variety of audiences, technical and non-technical.
Strategic Planning
Assists Primary Care Leaders with the development and implementation of strategic business plans to support population health and enterprise strategic initiatives consistent with the clinical, administrative, and legal requirements / objectives of the organization.
Collaboration
Trusted partner with internal teams across the enterprise taking a solution-oriented approach to solving some of the business’ toughest problems. This will be accomplished with a “can do” approach and building relationships across roles and teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 6-10 years of relevant experience.
Several years of experience with health care data sets and analysis with proven track record of managing complex data projects across disparate systems.
Prior experience in value-based care organizations, notably primary care, a plus.
Advanced technical skills in data analysis and reporting tools, including Excel, and visualization platforms, like PowerBI; foundational skills in programming language, such as SQL a plus
Strong problem solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and develop key insights to support action and execution
Solid written and verbal communication skills for presenting data findings to diverse audiences, including active engagement via remote collaboration platforms, like Microsoft Teams
