Position Summary:
We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and results-driven Sales and Business Development Representative to drive growth and brand visibility throughout Harford County. This individual will serve as the face of BrightStar Care in the community, forging relationships with referral sources, including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, physician practices, senior living communities, and healthcare networks. The right candidate will be a natural relationship-builder, passionate about senior care, and highly motivated to help individuals access high-quality in-home and staffing care services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate referrals for private-duty home care and skilled medical staffing services by developing relationships with healthcare professionals, facilities, and senior-focused organizations.
- Create and execute strategic business development plans, including territory planning, lead tracking, and conversion activities.
- Represent BrightStar Care at local networking events, chamber of commerce meetings, healthcare expos, and senior living community events.
- Establish and maintain relationships with discharge planners, case managers, physicians, and facility administrators.
- Collaborate with the internal care team, including RNs and customer care staff, to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery for new clients.
- Monitor and report on lead sources, referral patterns, sales funnel activities, and performance against sales targets.
- Educate referral partners and community members about our full continuum of care, including 24/7 care, RN-led care, and Joint Commission-accredited services.
- Uphold the brand standards and values of BrightStar Care in every community interaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, healthcare management, or a related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing in healthcare, senior services, or a related industry.
- Familiarity with home care, home health, or medical staffing strongly preferred.
- Proven success in lead generation, territory management, and closing new business.
- Excellent public speaking, interpersonal communication, and persuasive writing skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, meet deadlines, and follow through.
- Passionate about improving the lives of seniors and individuals with healthcare needs in Harford County.
- Proficient in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital marketing platforms.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance required.
