Job Overview
BrightStar Cares Physical Therapists are responsible for evaluating the patients condition and develop an individualized plan of care tailored to each patient based on the physicians orders. They help patients manage pain and improve mobility, stability, balance and safety to improve quality of life.
As a Physical Therapist, you are responsible for :
Contacting with clients under a wide variety of circumstances. Care provided in clients living environment with varying situations or in an institution such as a hospital. May be required to respond to emergency situations. Position includes tasks that have the potential for exposure to blood and other potentially infectious material (OPIM) such as body fluids / tissues
Requirements
Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must have empathy for the needs of the client.
