Position Responsibilities Summary:
The Life Enrichment Coordinator shall assist and support the successful operations of BrightStar Senior Living’s programming. The Life Enrichment Coordinator will be responsible for daily resident programming (including off-site events), successful management of the programming budget, supervision and support of activity assistant staff and volunteers, and participation/documentation as required for resident care planning. As with others on the management team, the Life Enrichment Coordinator will be responsible for providing on-call support to our direct care staff. The Life Enrichment Coordinator will assist in establishing, implementing, and evaluating goals and objectives for BrightStar Senior Living that meet and promote the standards of quality.
Directly Supervises:
Activities Assistant
Education/Certification Requirements:
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist (CTRS)
- 1 years Programming or Enrichment position experience preferably from within a Long Term Care, Assisted Living or Memory Care facility
Skills/Qualifications Requirements:
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Ability to physically push a resident in their wheelchair distances of 50 feet or more on a regular basis
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
