The role of the Life Engagement Associate is to be responsible for implementing a comprehensive continuous activity care program focused on daily therapeutic and social activities. General responsibilities include providing activities based on the needs, interests, and capabilities of the residents,
Duties/Responsibilities
- Daily Continuous Engagement is posted
- There is evidence that all residents are invited and encouraged to attend each activity planned
- Daily activities include: Exercise, afternoon social with hydration and snack, sing-along/music, baking/cooking
- Provides continuous activities from the beginning to the end of their shift
- Works as a team with Care Practitioners to ensure that the needs of the residents are met
- A minimum of one outing per week with 10 residents in attendance
- Ensures that environments are attractively appointed with holiday/seasonal decor
- Milieu Effect: Lights, sounds, aromas are vibrant, stimulation, and encouraged socialization, purposeful living. Lights are on, music is playing and hobby stations are used.

Requirements:
- One year of experience working in actives, recreation or similar background.
- A passion for working with the elderly, especially those with memory loss.
- Creative and full of energy
- A valid driver's license.
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
