BrightStar Care of Leesburg and Gainesville, a prominent home care and medical staffing agency, is seeking a dedicated Junior Recruiter to join our esteemed team. As a Junior Recruiter, you will play a vital role supporting the Recruitment team in sourcing and attracting top talent to ensure we maintain our commitment to providing A Higher Standard of Care. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist candidates after interview with signing their offer letter and completing their onboarding documents before they leave.
- Ensuring that candidates onboarding documents are completed before attending orientation.
- Assist in sending out all bulk emails (e.g. following up with candidates after orientation for missing credentials to make sure their files are up to date).
- Ensure that two professional reference checks are completed for potential candidates before attending orientation.
- Conduct prescreening interviews for applicants and consult with the Recruiter to evaluate if the candidate meets the position requirements.
- Coordinate recruiting initiatives with Recruiters.
- Manage candidate relationships throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive experience for all applicants.
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
- Build networks/cold calls to find qualified passive candidates.
- Under the direction of the Recruiters assist with job postings, social media engagements, and area canvassing.
- Attend Career/Job fairs for recruiting and company recognition as needed.
- Attend School/University and community events to increase awareness.
- Assist the Recruiting team with recruitment planning/meetings.
- Work closely with the HR team to ensure compliance with hiring policies and procedures
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in recruitment or HR-related roles is a plus.
- Familiarity with talent acquisition processes and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in using HR software and tools for recruitment purposes.
