We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Installation Supervisor to lead and support our plumbing team on commercial projects. This is a working foreman role, responsible for both hands-on installation and overseeing day-to-day field operations.
This position requires the ability to plan ahead, coordinate tasks, manage materials, and guide team members in proper plumbing techniques and best practices. The ideal candidate will take ownership of projects, lead by example, and foster the development of less experienced plumbers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise plumbing crews on commercial job sites.
- Plan and lay out daily tasks to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Proactively order and manage materials to avoid job delays.
- Assist with the installation of new plumbing systems and rough-ins.
- Maintain and repair existing plumbing systems as needed.
- Train and mentor team members on proper plumbing methods and construction skills.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Ensure all work meets applicable codes and safety standards.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive job site.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, team members, and customers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of commercial plumbing experience, including previous leadership or foreman responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, installation techniques, and safety standards.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and plans.
- Ability to plan ahead, multi-task, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Must possess standard hand tools for the trade.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and occasionally outside of regular hours.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Occasional evenings or weekends may be required (rare).
