This role emphasizes mentoring installers, maintaining high standards, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Installation Coordinator to create and adjust daily and weekly schedules.Allocate and order manpower, tools, equipment, and materials to ensure smooth project execution.Monitor job progress and adjust schedules or resources as needed to meet deadlines.Conduct site visits to ensure proper resource utilization, adherence to schedules, and compliance with quality and safety standards.Verify that all tools, materials, and equipment required for each job are prepared and available before deployment.Act as a lead installer on projects as needed to ensure completion within deadlines.Provide real-time guidance and support to Lead Installers and Apprentices during projects.Mentor and coach team members to improve efficiency, technical skills, and customer service abilities.Conduct regular field training sessions and safety meetings to ensure compliance and growth.Act as a primary field representative to address customer concerns and ensure satisfaction.Promote additional services or upgrades when appropriate to deliver added value.Monitor labor and material budgets, ensuring projects remain cost-effective.Identify and implement improvements to installation processes in collaboration with the Installation Manager.Review and submit timecards, project documentation, and job completion paperwork.Maintain open communication with the Installation Manager and Coordinator, providing daily updates on job progress and resource needs.Required Qualifications :
3 years plumbing experience in residential repipesPrior managerial experienceValid drivers license and insurable driving recordStrong verbal and interpersonal communication skillsStrong finger and Manual dexterity for handling pipes and plumbing fixturesDetail-oriented, organized and proficient of reading blueprintsStrong knowledge of local plumbing codesWilling to work in all types of weatherAbility to lift 75 poundsConsiderable knowledge of standard tools, methods, and materials of the plumbing tradeplumber, installer, hvac, journeyman, journeyman plumber, residential service, residential, commercial, install, installation
