About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Brake System Design and Development Engineer to join our team at Brightwing. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing brake systems for our vehicles.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing brake systems and ensuring their performance meets our high standards
- Working closely with internal teams to coordinate vehicle ordering, builds, shipping, and testing
- Root cause quality/build issues and implement corrective actions
- Communicating technical requirements to internal areas
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree required
- Knowledge of vehicle level brake system design and validation experience
- Knowledge of brake system performance and sizing modeling/analysis
- DFMEA/SFMEA and DVP-R experience
- Proven problem-solving skillset and analytical skillset
