Job Title : Project Chief – Propulsion Systems Air Induction and Exhaust
Overview : The Project Chief serves as the technical program manager for one or more vehicle lines, acting as the primary liaison between the Induction and Exhaust systems design team and various functional areas including vehicle program management, engineering departments, and manufacturing. The role ensures that Air Induction and Exhaust systems meet all functional and performance requirements within specified cost, weight, investment, timing, and quality parameters.
Responsibilities :
- Lead air induction and exhaust systems throughout the lifecycle, from concept phase to end-of-life.
- Support concept studies, initial packaging, and function targets (e.g., NVH, restriction, backpressure).
- Conduct cost and weight analysis, oversee prototype procurement, manage suppliers, and initiate tooling.
- Drive validation, manage program launch, and oversee change management and quality improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate technical issue resolution across all stages and functional areas, supporting plant development and onsite launch activities.
- Act as the launch lead for Air Induction and Exhaust systems during program launch phase, managing issue triage, resolution, and resource allocation.
