Job Summary
Reporting to the Executive Director the Program Manager will oversee and coordinate FB4K programs. This position works closely with the Executive Director to reflect and promote program goals and the mission of the organization.
Program Management:
- Act as a coordinator to centralize communication, resources, and volunteer opportunities
- Ensure all programs are optimizing resources and meeting budget parameters
- Ensure all programs are working to uphold FB4K mission and vision
- Coordinate purchasing to maximize spending
- Supervise and collaborate with Office Administrator, Family Support Specialist, Pantry Manager, and Farm Manager
Volunteer Coordinator:
- Respond to all volunteer inquiries to build goodwill and community involvement
- Ensure volunteers are being utilized to meet organizational needs
Event Coordinator:
- Work collaboratively with staff and community for effective events
- Develop, manage, and coordinate the planning and implementation of all community events including food drives, media campaigns, and seasonal and holiday events to support organizational mission and maximize fundraising efforts
- Manage fundraising event activities and develop marketing materials for such events
Communications:
- Oversee social media and website updates
- Help out as needed to attend events, receive donations, assist families, and other duties as needed
- Design materials to help promote FB4K and develop, share, support, and promote all graphics and communication
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Some evenings and weekends are required
Qualifications:
Required:
- 2 years of program or project management experience, ideally in a nonprofit or community-based setting
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience supervising staff and/or managing volunteers
- Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and digital (including social media and basic design tools)
- Experience planning and executing community events and/or fundraising activities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs
- Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed
Preferred:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and social media platforms
- Spanish or other second language proficiency a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
