What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machine Operator - Entry Level position at Briles Aerospace, Inc.?
Produce machined parts by setting up and operating CNC Lathes utilizing collets, three jaw chucks, and bushings. Using inspection equipment such as a caliper, micrometer, drop dial indicator, and optical comparator to ensure parts are within specification.
All Machine Operators are responsible for operating their assigned equipment in accordance with the relevant work instruction, if any. If there is (are) no relevant work instructions, the machine is operated in accordance with normal operating practices. In addition, the operators are responsible for daily maintenance of machine, including cleaning the work area.
Spanish Speaking a plus.
The Quality Management System responsibilities of CNC Machine Operator include the following, other duties may be assigned:
Following relevant work instructions
Following the guidance of lead persons & plant manager
Cleaning the work area daily
Producing first article (i.e., production verification) units from the machine
Producing good quality units from the machine
Conducting daily equipment maintenance activities
Recording parts accountability information Job Traveler
Recording appropriate information and stamps on Job Traveler and Inspection Reports
Handling inspection & measuring tools with care
Properly use safety equipment, when required
Report any unsafe or inadequate conditions
Cooperate with internal audit activities
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
