Briljent is seeking an experienced Project Manager (PMO) to support a Project Management Office (PMO) in overseeing project and contract management activities. This role will be responsible for risk management, status reporting, SLA performance tracking, and project scheduling, among other PMO functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven decision-making within the healthcare, Medicaid, or public sector domains.
This is a hybrid role that requires periodic on-site presence for stakeholder meetings, team collaboration, and project oversight. Candidates must be available to work on-site as needed and comply with client requirements for in-person engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & Oversight
- Develop and maintain bi-weekly and quarterly status reports on project progress, staffing, SLA performance, and risks.
- Oversee the risk and issue management process, including identification, assessment, mitigation, and tracking.
- Assist in scope management by tracking scope changes and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Monitor and maintain a comprehensive project schedule to track key deliverables and milestones.
- Ensure quality management processes are followed, including artifact and deliverable reviews.
- Utilize Alteryx for data analysis, workflow automation, and dashboard reporting to support project tracking and decision-making.
Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
- Facilitate quarterly progress meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the staff management process, including onboarding, offboarding, and performance tracking.
- Maintain effective communication with cross-functional teams, vendors, and Department of Health (DOH) stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain a Communication Plan and Communications Matrix to ensure seamless information flow.
Operational & Administrative Support
- Ensure document management and repository updates are conducted regularly.
- Track time reporting and invoice management, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
- Maintain budget tracking processes, including forecasts and budget risk identification.
- Lead the SLA management process, ensuring contract compliance and performance tracking.
- Provide editorial and graphic design support for reports and presentations as needed.
- Support transition planning activities for project continuity and knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Project Management, IT, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5 years of project management experience in a PMO or similar environment.
- Experience working with healthcare, Medicaid, or public health projects is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Alteryx for data preparation, data blending, and workflow automation (Required).
- Prior experience with government contracts, compliance, and SLA management is a plus.
- Strong ability to analyze data, track metrics, and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience in project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, PMBOK, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and mitigate risks proactively.
- Collaborative mindset, with a track record of working with cross-functional teams.
