We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to desktops, printers, laptops, and other computer peripherals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of enterprise LAN and WAN setups and concepts, as well as the ability to work under instruction-based activities at various sites and remotely.
The successful candidate will possess expert-level skills in desk-side support, PC break/fix, and basic administration of Windows O/S and MAC OS. Additionally, they will have advanced knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP, as well as smart hand support for peripheral and networking hardware.
The role requires excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and management. Strong people skills, a proactive approach to ownership, and a sense of urgency are essential.
Key responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving technical issues using good deductive reasoning skills, working with deadlines, and completing tasks on time. The ideal candidate will also have experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Remedy, although this is not mandatory.
