They are seeking a Staff Accountant with comprehensive full-cycle accounting experience and a strong background in supporting both workers' compensation and year-end audits. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing accounting operations and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee full-cycle accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger maintenance, and month-end / year-end closings.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Assist in workers' compensation audits by :
Gathering and organizing payroll records, employee classifications, and job descriptions.
Preparing audit schedules and reconciling year-end balances.
