Senior Accountant | Mostly Remote – Northern Subs | $90,000 to $100,000 Bonus | Health / Vision / Dental | 401k | PTO

This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing capital expenditures, and overseeing fixed asset accounting. Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
- Manage fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation schedules, and asset disposals.
- Track and analyze capital expenditures (CapEx) to ensure alignment with budgets and company goals.
- Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Support inventory accounting processes, including cost accounting, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
- Assist with budget preparation and forecasting, providing insights on trends and variances.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and project management, to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
- Maintain compliance with internal controls, identifying and recommending process improvements as needed.
- Prepare schedules and provide support for internal and external audits.
- Contribute to ERP system updates and enhancements, ensuring accurate data capture and reporting.
