Job Title : Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location : Vernon Hills, IL
Pay Range : $27-30 / hour

Role Overview : Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in the search for an Accounts Receivable Specialist. Our client located in Vernon Hills, IL is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team on a Contract-to-Hire basis. This individual will be responsible for outbound collection calls, misapplied / unapplied cash, and preparing AR data for month end close. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply immediately!
Key Responsibilities :
- Outbound collection calls daily and manage relationships with customers
- Investigate misapplied / unapplied cash for 400k aging balance for roughly 140 accounts
- Access customer portals and apply daily / weekly payments - 20 transactions daily
- Investigating past-due invoices and clarifying questions by customers related to them
- Prepare AR account data for month-end accruals
- Process wire transfers
- Other duties as assigned
