As Controller, you will manage all facets of accounting, streamline processes for efficiency, and ensure financial statements comply with GAAP.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all accounting functions, including project accounting, AP, WIP, billing, cash flow, payroll, HR, and benefits
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring financial statement integrity
- Collaborate with project managers and operations to track job costs, update forecasts, and ensure accurate billing
- Drive process improvement initiatives and implement best practices
- Assist in budget preparation, financial analysis, and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with all payroll and regulatory reporting requirements
- Partner with external auditors and support the audit process
- Other strategic and operational duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 5-7 years of accounting experience
- Strong GAAP knowledge
- Working knowledge of construction accounting
- CPA preferred
- Strong financial statement preparation and internal control experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on role with a proactive mindset
Salary : $125,000 - $130,000
