This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of financial processes, drive improvements, and collaborate closely with leadership in a hands-on role. The Controller will oversee all aspects of accounting, ensuring efficient processes are in place while producing financial statements in accordance with GAAP. This position will be a hands-on leader, collaborating closely with senior leadership to build a best-in-class accounting function.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage all accounting functions, including project accounting, AP, WIP, billing, cash flow, payroll, HR, and benefits
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring financial statement integrity
- Collaborate with project managers and operations to track job costs, update forecasts, and ensure accurate billing
- Drive process improvement initiatives and implement best practices
- Assist in budget preparation, financial analysis, and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with all payroll and regulatory reporting requirements
- Partner with external auditors and support the audit process
- Other strategic and operational duties as assigned
