Our client, a global manufacturing company, is seeking an interim Corporate Accounting Manager. This position will assist with general accounting, financial statements, consolidations, internal controls, GAAP compliance, and ad hoc finance projects. Dynamic, fast-paced environment with high level exposure and team management! Long-term consulting position, 6 months. 3 days on-site in N subs.
Responsibilities
- Support month-end close activities, including multi-currency consolidation, completion and review of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting as assigned
- Support continual process improvements and system enhancements
- Support implementation of financial systems, including upgrades and training
- Partner with cross-functional teams and finance leadership
- Participate in any ad hoc projects such as acquisition, M&A accounting
Qualifications
- B.A. degree in Accounting
- 7-10 years of experience in progressive responsibility in large corporate entities
- Prefer CPA certification and public accounting experience
- Experience in multi-entity international business
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Strong presentation and communication skills
Location: North Chicago subs
Salary Range: $70-80/hour
