Key Responsibilities
- Manage financials for multiple construction projects, including cost tracking and job costing.
- Prepare and review project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure accurate accounting of materials, labor, and overhead costs.
- Process subcontractor invoices and track project-related payments.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and company policies.
- Assist in month-end close and provide reports to senior management.
- Support audits and provide documentation for financial reviews.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure project profitability and efficiency.
- 2 years of experience in project accounting, ideally within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of job costing and construction project financials.
- Proficient in Excel, ERP systems (e.g., Viewpoint, Procore, or similar).
- Ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Those with more extensive relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
