Quality Engineer

- Identify weaknesses and problem areas in the software application
- Work closely with development, operations, support, business partners and other stake holders to ensure timely collaboration and resolution
- Work independently under minimal guidance. Identify use cases/scenarios, create test cases, prioritize test cases, execute test cases, and generate reports to report to stakeholders
- Tracking software bugs and investigating the causes
- Preparing automation scripts
- Troubleshooting automation software issues
- Creating test plans and test summary reports
- Executing regression and exploratory testing as necessary
- Performing functional and end to end testing
- Maintaining the automation suite
- Test data creation for automation
- Submitting Pull Requests
- Understand software internals, debug problems, and automate repetitive tasks
- Analysis of the automation reports (Extent and Cucumber)
- Trigger the automation suite as necessary Skills
- Selenium with Java, Cucumber framework, automation frameworks to integrate backend with RESTful API's, Saucelab, Flyway, Bitbucket, Gitlab, Jenkins, Maven
