Lead Quality Engineer with Pharmacy, Claims, PBM
\n- We are looking for an experienced End-to-End Functional Tester with expertise in the pharmacy domain to ensure the quality, accuracy, and performance of pharmacy management systems and applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in functional, integration, system, and end-to-end testing within pharmacy workflows, including prescription processing, claims adjudication, inventory management, and regulatory compliance.
- Analyze business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications related to pharmacy management systems.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate the end-to-end workflows across pharmacy applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing for pharmacy applications and healthcare interfaces.
- Validate electronic prescription processing (eRx), drug dispensing, claims adjudication, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management), and other regulatory standards.
- Execute data validation and reconciliation between upstream and downstream pharmacy systems.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure thorough testing coverage.
- Report and track defects using JIRA, HP ALM, or similar defect management tools.
- Perform API testing using Postman, SOAP UI, or REST Assured for pharmacy-related integrations.
- Knowledge of automation testing using Selenium with Java or Python
- Participate in agile ceremonies (scrum, sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups).
- Strong understanding of pharmacy workflows, prescription life cycles, and drug utilization review (DUR).
- Experience with claims adjudication, formulary validation, and prior authorization processes.
- Proficiency in SQL for validating pharmacy-related data in databases.
- Experience in API testing (REST/SOAP) and HL7/FHIR validation.
- Hands-on experience with test management tools like JIRA
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to ensure seamless pharmacy system operations.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
