Key Responsibilities
- Corporate Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, including corporate income tax, property tax, and business license filings.
- Strategic Tax Planning: Develop and implement corporate tax strategies, including multi-state tax planning and offshore tax processes.
- Tax Preparation & Review: Coordinate with third-party tax preparers to review corporate tax returns, minimizing compliance costs.
- Regulatory Correspondence: Address inquiries from state and federal tax authorities and resolve tax-related issues.
- Financial Reporting: Support corporate tax provisions, financial reporting, and tax compliance management.
- Data Collection & Reporting: Prepare quarterly tax projections, estimate tax payments, and maintain accurate tax documentation.
- International Taxation (Preferred): Experience with Mexico and Canada tax regulations is a plus.
- Corporate Tax Research: Stay updated on latest tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify potential savings.
- Advisory & Support: Provide tax guidance to affiliates and acquired companies as needed.
- Special Projects: Engage in tax-related projects and any additional duties assigned by management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate tax, finance, and accounting.
- Strong understanding of corporate tax compliance, tax provisions, and accounting principles.
- Multi-state tax experience is highly desired.
- Ability to analyze complex tax issues, conduct research, and provide strategic tax solutions.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical tax concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Bilingual in Korean and English
- Highly organized with excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- CPA or EA certification is a plus.
