A fast-growing hospitality company is seeking a Junior Accountant to join its corporate headquarters in Irvine, CA. This role is responsible for handling full-cycle accounting for multiple restaurant locations. If you have a background in accounting and experience in the food and beverage or hospitality industry, this is a great opportunity to advance your career.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing in compliance with GAAP and financial regulations.
• Monitor revenue and expenses, consolidate financial data, and generate ad-hoc reports.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P), ensuring accurate journal entries and invoice verification.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card transactions, and open A/R & A/P accounts.
• Prepare daily revenue reports and maintain monthly rent schedules.
• Support restaurant managers with accounting and accounts payable inquiries.
• Handle sales tax filings and respond to merchant chargeback inquiries.
• Assist with government filings, annual renewals, external audits, and compliance reporting.
  
  

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of accounting experience (hospitality, food & beverage industry preferred).
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial compliance regulations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
