At Brimacombe ski area we don’t just offer skiing and snowboarding, we offer a place for all ages to get outside, enjoy the fresh air and create memorable experiences! Entering our seventh year of summer camps, we are currently seeking fun, outgoing, and responsible team members to help us make Camp Brimacombe a fun and safe place for our campers this summer.
As part of our Camp Brimacombe team, the Camp Experience Team Member will be responsible for ensuring we are consistently documenting our camper's day-to-day camp experiences to share with their parents/guardians and to create content to promote camp.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a daily schedule of photo and video content for each camper using camper programming and schedules, with oversight from the Camp Experience Coordinator.
- Utilize SeeSaw App platform daily to communicate with camper parents/guardians through photos and videos.
- Capture content to promote Camp Brimacombe on Brimacombe's website and social media.
- Coordinate all take-home pieces for campers, including weekly camp group photo and other promotional materials.
- Assist with the fulfillment of orders from the online Camp Brimacombe Tuck Shop.
- Act as a liaison between camp groups and Camp Experience Coordinator.
- Interact with Camp Brimacombe Campers and Staff during scheduled activities.
- Assist with promotion of camps and camp products, as required, including attending off-site events.
- Decorate camp spaces with weekly-themed decor with oversight from Camp Experience Coordinator.
- Follow and enforce all Camp Brimacombe policies and procedures for employees and campers.
- Work effectively in a team with all other Camp Brimacombe staff and management.
- Ready to take on any challenge or help other team members when needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience or education in marketing or photography/videography or related field
- Previous experience in a camp or recreational setting
- Valid First Aid and CPR-C certification
- Successful Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Search, required prior to the first day of work.
- Ability to lead, plan, organize and implement weekly marketing tasks.
- Ability to work as a member of a team and the ability to accomplish task with little direct supervision.
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Must be able to legally work in Canada
