Position Overview
We are seeking an Associate Advisor to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for financial planning who aspire to grow into a Lead Advisor position within 1-2 years. The Associate Advisor will work closely with our Lead Advisors to craft personalized financial solutions, help us onboard new clients, and take on serving our existing clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend client and prospect meetings with Lead Advisors, documenting key updates and recommendations.
- Draft follow-up emails and schedule tasks to ensure seamless client service.
- Collaborate with Lead Advisors to prepare for meetings and deliver financial planning solutions.
- Develop financial plans with well-drafted, actionable recommendations.
- Participate in team meetings and training, including Brindle & Bay’s Advisor Office Hours
Qualifications
Experience : 1-4 years of Associate Advisor experience. Series 65 license.
Technical Skills : Willingness to learn tools like RightCapital, Income Lab, and Holistiplan, with a desire to acquire basic tax planning knowledge. We provide training.
Soft Skills : Strong listening and communication abilities, humility, reliability, teamwork, and a passion for client service.
Values : Detail-oriented, a team player, and committed to becoming an exceptional financial planner. A mindset focused on continual improvement and self-development.
Compensation and Benefits
Base Salary : $75,000 / year to start.
Bonus : 15%-20% of base salary.
Long-Term Incentive Plan : Contributions tied to firm growth, allowing you to benefit directly from the success of our rapidly expanding practice.
Retirement Plan : 5% 401(k) match.
Health Insurance : Group health insurance.
Work Environment : We provide office space and allow the flexibility to work in-office or from home when on-site presence isn’t necessary.
