Job Description

 


The Security Coordinator, working independently with minimal supervision, will be responsible for the input, update and maintenance of information in the access control, video management and alarm systems for North America. This position will represent Brink’s professionally and regularly works with information of the most sensitive, highly confidential, strategic and critical nature.   

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Utilizes computer skills to accurately update and maintain data in the Access Control/CCTV and Alarm systems for Brinks US. 

  • Prepares and distributes system reports to management to ensure program compliance.  

  • Maintain all files and databases necessary to support information requirements of director and/or staff. 

  • Establish, maintain, and keep all records and manuals associated with Security Systems. 

  • Organize workload to comply with deadlines and priorities, work independently to complete routine department functions and prepare routine correspondence and reports. 

  • Perform other duties as required or necessary 

Minimum Qualifications: 

 

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Microsoft Outlook 

  • Minimum of 2 years experience Managing Projects.  

Preferred Qualifications: 

 

  • Skilled in managing team scheduling 

  • Working knowledge of industry (Brinks) Security Practices and Physical Security Systems and Standards 

 

Professional Skills: 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Organizational skills 

  • Excellent customer service skills 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
