Overview :
The Recreational Therapy Assistant, under the direct supervision of the Certified Recreational Therapist Specialist (CTRS), assists with recreational and therapeutic activities for participants at Thome PACE.
What you’ll do :
- Promote Well-Being and Engagement
Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating group and individual therapeutic activity programs .
Create a Vibrant Community Environment
Build a sense of community and a warm, social atmosphere.
Support Resident Independence and Care
Complete Participant Care Aide (PCA) training.
Collaborate and Document
Collaborate with care teams, families, and other staff to support participant goals.
Thome PACE® serves Jackson, Lenawee, and Hillsdale counties providing participants with a wide range of medical and supportive services in our Day Clinic located in Jackson, Michigan or in the comfort of their own homes. The Thome PACE team of healthcare professionals specialize in working with the senior community to help participants and their family members make positive healthcare decisions and receive the care they deserve.
