The Associate Director, Finance & Operations (Derivatives & Securities) will be responsible for a broad range of Operational functions across multiple portfolios comprised of publicly traded real estate debt assets. Assets include: CMBS, RMBS, Corporate Debt, Equities, Repurchase Agreements and Hedging Derivatives. Will be primarily focused on the lifecycle of Derivative Instruments, Hedge Monitoring and Derivative-related compliance obligations. This role requires interaction with the Trading Desk, Fund Administrators, Accounting, Trading & Clearing Counterparties and other Operations professionals.

What You Will Do
- Responsible for trade lifecycle of all derivative transactions across various vehicles
- Interact with trading counterparts on settlements and periodic cashflows
- Provide allocations to counterparts for derivative transactions
- Monitor foreign currency risk and liaise with trading desk to facilitate the execute of hedges
- Liaise with technology on the implementation of new systems and tools
- Liaise with the Investment team and work with Technology and the Finance group to develop new Risk reports and tools used to enhance Hedging and Derivative management
- Monitor derivative related compliance such as CFTC and EMIR
- Owner the team’s use of the TriOptima platform to reconcile Derivatives and Collateral
- Help oversee a group of offshore team members in the facilitation of these responsibilities
- Assist with KYC/AML/QIB Documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Real Estate or related discipline required.
- 4 years of experience with financial Derivative instruments at an asset management firm, private equity firm, lender, owner / operator, servicer, rating agency, investment bank or broker is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrable experience in analyzing quantitative and qualitative research.
- Excellent in clear and effective communications with the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Motivated to excel in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, working with competing deadlines.
- Robust attention to detail.
- Demonstrates curiosity, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Advanced skills in Excel.
- Familiarity with Derivative instruments and Hedging concepts.
