What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Specialist position at Bristol Bay Area Health Corporation?
PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Monitors a variety of Maintenance Systems to insure proper operations. Performs routine maintenance to Healthcare buildings and equipment, grounds keeping, and provides minor repairs, adjustments, resetting or troubleshooting of systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Building facilities maintenance background preferred.
- Valid Alaska driver’s license required.
- Certified able to wear a respirator.
- Customer Service oriented focus.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment.
- Must maintain confidentiality including HIPAA/HITECH information.
- Certified for airport driving within first three months of employment.
- First Aid/CPR within first six months of employment.
- Possess current or obtain State of Alaska Provisional/level 1 water treatment certification within 1 year of hire.
- Possess current or successful completion of Class III Boiler licensure within the first year of employment.
- Completion of ICS 100, 200 within 90 days of hire.
