- What does a Lube Technician do?
Lube Technicians assist customers with low-level service requests including oil changes and other fluid replacements. Their job is to quickly and professionally complete the maintenance tasks customers need to be performed to get safely back on the road. After services are completed, the Lube Technician is responsible for preparing service reports and invoicing the customer as well as recommending the next service date. The main priority of a Lube Technician is to provide quality maintenance to vehicles, helping to build confidence in the company and garner lifelong customer relationships.
Performing oil and filter changes
Checking tire inflation
Replenishing vehicle fluids
Lubricating joints and fittings
Inspecting vehicles for potential problems
Replacing wiper blades and car batteries
Keeping vehicle interiors clean during maintenance tasks
