The Behavior Assistant will work under the supervision of the building administrator and other educational professionals to support students with behavioral challenges. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide support to students with behavioral challenges.
• Implement behavior intervention plans as developed by the educational professionals.
• Assist in the development of social skills, coping strategies, and other essential skills for students.
• Monitor and document student progress and behavior, providing feedback to the educational professionals.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other school staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Participate in training and professional development sessions as required.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavior when appropriate.
