What are the responsibilities and job description for the Groundskeeper/Maintenance/Custodian position at Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School?
Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School is seeking a full-time, 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday Groundskeeper/Maintenance/Custodian.
Minimum Requirements:
•3 consecutive years of relevant grounds experience including snow removal.
•Requires a valid 2A & 1C license.
•Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
•Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
•Basic computer skills to complete work orders and send and receive emails.
•Sitting, standing, and bending down for an extended period of time.
•Able to work outdoors in a variety of temperatures.
•Ability to maintain and operate a variety of power equipment.
•Ability to climb/work from ladders and aerial lifts with no height limitations.
•Must have high degree of initiative and the ability to work alone effectively or with a team.
Preferred Requirements:
•Experience maintaining equipment used in grounds work and maintenance of school vehicles
•Experience with turf management
•Familiarity with sprinkler systems
•ASHS Certified
