Job Description: Mt Hope High School Portuguese TeacherOverviewAs a high school World Language teacher, your role is to educate and inspire students in the field of language. You will be responsible for teaching World Language, specifically Portuguese. A dual certification with Portuguese/Spanish is preferred.Qualifications- Valid RI teaching certification, secondary world Language- Excellent communication and presentation skills.- Ability to engage and motivate students- Organizational and time management skills.- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young minds.Responsibilities1. Plan and Deliver Lessons: Develop engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
Use a variety of teaching methods, such as lectures, discussions, group activities, and multimedia presentations, to cater to different learning styles.2. Assess Student Performance: Evaluate student progress through assignments, projects, quizzes, and exams. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their understanding and skills.
