Overview
As a high school World Language teacher, your role is to educate and inspire students in the field of language. You will be responsible for teaching World Language, specifically Portuguese. A dual certification with Portuguese/Spanish is preferred.

- Valid RI teaching certification, secondary world Language
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students

Responsibilities
1. Plan and Deliver Lessons: Develop engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards. Use a variety of teaching methods, such as lectures, discussions, group activities, and multimedia presentations, to cater to different learning styles.
2. Assess Student Performance: Evaluate student progress through assignments, projects, quizzes, and exams. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their understanding and skills. Keep track of grades and maintain accurate records.
3. Create a Positive Learning Environment: Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas, and collaborating with their peers. Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork.
4. Stay Updated with Industry Trends: Stay abreast of the latest developments in the business, marketing, and broadcasting industries. Attend professional development workshops, conferences, and seminars to enhance your own knowledge and skills.
