BriteLife Recovery is a mission-centered behavioral health organization dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to those struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders.
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team at BriteLife Recovery. As a key member of our operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our facilities.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in building trades, including painting, carpentry, electrical and plumbing work, as well as other recognized crafts.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with installation, maintenance, repair and construction work in basic building maintenance trades
- Perform semi-skilled tasks of a general nature in connection with maintenance, repair and construction tasks
- Prepare and paint walls and woodwork or perform other types of refinish
- Install or repair carpet and other flooring
- Clean and maintain the facility
Requirements:
- Preferred: Two years maintenance experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; customer service oriented
- Organized, detail oriented, self-motivated and able to multitask
- Experience working in a healthcare setting highly desirable
- Able to push/lift 50 pounds
- Bending at waist, sitting, kneeling, climbing, walking, crouching and other repeated body movements as job requires
- Able to work in extreme temperatures
- Able to climb ladders
