The role:
An exciting opportunity to join British Airways as an International Communications Manager has arisen!
Based in New York, you will be responsible for delivering internal and external communications and Government Affairs across North and South America, our biggest market outside of the UK.
What you’ll do:
- Drive positive engagement with the British Airways brand, through the conception, delivery, implementation and evaluation of PR campaigns.
- Deliver positive media coverage and social media engagement to promote commercial and brand initiatives, regional news stories and business strategy.
- Work closely with our Head of Social Media to devise a social media strategy across our international markets, unearthing trends and ideating region-specific content.
- Proactively align activities across Internal Communications, Marketing, Social Media, and Customer Engagement teams to drive the one-stop-shop message and ensure effective integrated communications.
What you'll bring:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and challenge at all levels.
- Strong media and PR experience.
- Solution-focused problem solving and thinking through problems creatively.

Your impact on British Airways will be rewarded with a salary of $119,000-$146,000, a competitive rewards package plus the opportunity to develop and progress your career in many directions.
The role holder must have employment authorization to work in the United States and be able to travel internationally.
