Overview
A busy professional family in the West Village, NY is looking for a warm, family-friendly, full-time housekeeper/nanny. This is a Monday through Friday role, guaranteed 40 hours per week, with a start time of 12pm Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and a 2pm start time Tuesdays and Thursdays. The day will generally end around 8pm with an earlier end time on Fridays. The family is flexible on exact hours and occasional overnights will be needed when the parents travel for business.
Responsibilities
- Light housekeeping (family has a housekeeper for deep cleaning 2 times per week)
- Assist with laundry
- Oversight of children after-school
- Drive children to and from activities
- Cooking for children (and family at times)
- Running errands
Qualifications
- Ability to travel to Hamptons in the Summer
- Able to assist children with school work
- The ability to speak Spanish (a plus but not required)
- Able to use basic technology for calendars, texting, maps etc.
Requirements
- Legal to work in US
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record (car is not required)
- Able to do overnights
- Strong organizational skills
