Overview
A kind family in Greenwich, CT is seeking two live-out rotational nannies for their 15-month-old to start as soon as possible. The family is also expecting a new baby in the early Spring of 2025, baby will have an NCS for at least 6 months, but the nannies will have both children after that. The general daily schedule will be 7am-4pm, and the nannies will work on a 7-day rotation. Flexibility might be needed for night-time coverage and longer travel on occasion. The family is currently only considering candidates who are local to Greenwich, CT, or within an easy daily commute as this position is strictly live-out.
Responsibilities
- Full childcare for your shift, caring for the child’s health, well-being, and education, while also being playful and creating an engaging environment.
- Maintaining the schedule and routine, planning active and engaging activities
- Planning age-appropriate and developmental activities, play dates, and outings
- Coordinating schedules for naps and meals, activities, and travel
- Preparing snacks and meals
- Managing the tidiness and organization of child spaces and belongings
- Child-related light housekeeping when needed
- Coordinating with the other nanny to create cohesive and consistent care
Qualifications
- Ability to navigate involved parents, working solo and as part of a team
- Positive attitude
- Loving and calm
- An educational background in Child Development/ECE or other relevant field
- Korean speaking a plus, but not a requirement
Requirements
- Must have at least 5 years’ experience
- Driver’s license and clean driving record
- Confident swimming skills
- Team player with excellent communication
- Infant/child CPR and First-Aid certified, or willing to certify
- Legal to work in the US
