Seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in southwest Iowa. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
We are hiring for a hospital-employed position with a unique schedule: working 4, 10-hour days on Tuesdays and Fridays, and having the option to work 3, 12-hour shifts on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays if covering ED coverage. This position comes with no call responsibilities.
Our team consists of 2 family physicians and 6 NPs, each with their own dedicated nurse. We see a moderate patient volume, with approximately 15-18 patients per day in the ED, 4-6 patients per day in the hospital, and 3-4 patients per day as part of Hospitalist duties. If working in the ED, you will primarily see acute and urgent care type patients.
The compensation package includes a salary range of $62,160-$92,620, depending on years of experience. Additionally, we offer full benefits for those who meet a minimum of 60 hours per pay period, a sign-on bonus, and a quality bonus of $5,000 per year.
