We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in the appearance and upkeep of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on problem solver with a strong work ethic and an eye for detail. You will take ownership of property maintenance, ensuring that all buildings and grounds are well maintained, safe, and visually appealing.

Job Summary and Job Functions
- Cleaning and maintaining buildings and grounds to meet Britten standards.
- Work with the Director of Facilities to maintain and prioritize building and grounds task list.
- Assist facilities technicians with PM work orders.
- Manage & complete building renovations.
- Work with custodial staff and the rest of the facilities team to ensure all buildings are maintained.
- Maintain building and grounds equipment and associated supply inventory.
- Repairs, improvements, preventive maintenance for building systems.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment for all Britten employees.
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
- Works with a sense of urgency to meet short deadlines without compromising quality.

Requirements
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must have the ability to take on tasks and complete them without direct supervision.
- Knowledge & experience with cleaning and maintenance equipment.
- Understanding basic building systems, plumbing, HVAC, construction.
- Experience with painting, drywall, flooring installation, and knowledge of fire and safety requirements.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Heavy work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Standing. Particularly for sustained periods of time.
- Feeling. Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature, or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips.
- Visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
- Subject to noise. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout to be heard above ambient noise level.
- Talking. Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
- Atmospheric conditions. One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
