The incumbent is directly responsible for all front desk operations including reception and performing switchboard duties. Additional duties include assistance with other clerical duties.

Requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training.
Language Skills: Ability to read, speak, and write effectively in English. Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, memos, letters, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports, procedures and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees of organization. Ability to effectively address or resolve customer service issues within guidelines of the position.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals Ability to compute rate and percent.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Reception
- Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel
- Maintains a high level of customer service in all aspects of the position
- Maintains a highly professional Front Desk image
- Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department
- Retrieves messages every morning from voice mail and forwards to appropriate personnel
- Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable
- Answers questions about BRMS and provides callers with address, directions, and other information
- Receives deliveries and routes accordingly
- Maintains incoming and outgoing mail - retrieves, logs, and routes incoming mail to the appropriate departments
- Other duties as assigned.
