Construction Manager - Telecommunication

Broadband of Indiana, LLC (BOI) is a telecommunication company. We install and maintain the lines and cables used by network communications companies. Currently, we are looking for a Construction Manager to work in the Southern Indiana area overseeing the underground installation of fiber to the home in rural areas.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise multiple projects simultaneously.
• Execute job duties according to print.
• Communicate with Regional Manager to provide updates about construction progress.
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers.
• Adhere to industry specific local, state, and federal regulations, as applicable.
• Establish all safety protocols on job sites.
• Troubleshoot and correct issues that may arise on the jobsite.
• Able and willing to train and support the development of others.
• Coordinate with utility locators to keep project moving forward.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience around existing utility.
• Must have computer skills, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Knowledge in OSHA, NESC, NEC and other similar construction guidelines.
• Valid driver’s license with clear MVR.
• Knowledge of how to perform all duties in underground telecommunications construction such as boring, plowing, trenching (all aspects of underground installation).
• Ability to interact and communicate with co-workers in a clear & professional manner.
• Ability to set up & maintain safe work areas.

Background check, pre-employment drug screening and MVR will be run on Candidate.
