Job Summary:
As a member of the Global Partnerships team, the Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be responsible for identifying and qualifying leads as well as initiating outbound contact with potential customers. The SDR will work closely with the sales and marketing team to develop targeted and tailored messaging for their outbound sales efforts.
Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Develop a robust understanding of BMG Live Production and Managed Services solutions, which include Broadcast Consulting, Network Operation Center (NOC), Transmissions, Cloud Production, Staffing, System Integration, Media Asset Management (MAM), Master Control, etc.
- Evangelize the core benefits and value proposition of Broadcast Management Group
- Conduct research to identify potential customers and develop targeted messaging
- Initiate contact with potential customers through phone calls, email, social media, and other channels
- Qualify leads by assessing their interest level and need for services
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads
- Keep accurate records of lead interactions and maintain the lead database
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted campaigns
- Participate in team meetings and provide feedback to help optimize the sales process
Position Requirements :
- 2 - 4 years experience of high volume outbound selling
- Customer focused
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills including CRM (HubSpot), Office 365, Monday, Google Workspace
- Motivation for sales and hunting new business
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Added bonus - if interested in broadcast production and technology
- Added bonus - familiarity creating sequences in Hubspot
Ideally, you are located in Washington, D.C. However, we will consider remote applicants as well.
Salary: $50k bonus opportunities
