- Strategic Innovation Leadership:
- Work with Chief Digital Officer to develop and execute the Innovation Lab's strategic roadmap, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
- Identify and analyze emerging trends and technologies in the financial services sector and beyond.
- Provide thought leadership and strategic recommendations to senior management on innovation opportunities and potential disruptions.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and identify potential areas for differentiation through innovation.
- Project Incubation and Development:
- Lead the identification, evaluation, and prioritization of new project ideas, focusing on feasibility, viability, and scalability.
- Oversee the incubation process, guiding cross-functional teams through rapid prototyping, experimentation, and validation.
- Develop and implement methodologies for agile project management and iterative development.
- Establish clear metrics and KPIs to measure the success of innovation projects.
- Technology and Trend Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of emerging technologies and their potential applications in financial services.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in AI, Blockchain, data analytics, and other relevant fields.
- Evaluate the potential impact of regulatory changes and industry trends on innovation initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with technology vendors, startups, and research institutions.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Build and lead a high-performing team of innovation professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support for their professional growth.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments, including technology, product, marketing, and compliance.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including startups, academic institutions, and industry experts.
- Facilitate workshops and design thinking sessions to generate new ideas.
- Communication and Advocacy:
- Effectively communicate the Innovation Lab's vision, strategy, and progress to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Present findings and recommendations in a clear and compelling manner.
- Serve as an advocate for innovation within the organization, promoting a culture of experimentation and risk-taking.
- Create and deliver presentations, reports, and other communication materials to diverse audiences.
- 8-10 years of experience
- History innovating new products, building POCs and testing in the market
- Proven experience to pivot quickly
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence
- Experience building POCs
