Broadway Brake Corp. is currently seeking a Parts Sales Representative - Inside. This position is responsible for medium to heavy duty truck and trailer parts sales to assist customers in finding the right parts both in person and over the telephone.
Broadway Brake Corp. is a family business that has been in existence for over 85 years and is located in Somerville, MA. We have an immediate need for a Parts Sales Representative - Inside who is enthusiastic, energetic, reliable, and is a good communicator. Familiarity with heavy duty truck and trailer parts is desired.
Job Overview
Work with customers, mechanics, and peers to find truck and trailer parts and accessories. Order parts for stock, customers, repairs and upgrades for trucks and trailers as needed. Assist in stocking shelves, and organizing the showroom floor as necessary.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Maintain customer goodwill by greeting and acknowledgment of all customers he/she comes in contact with, offering to assist.
- Answer the telephone with the proper greeting and offer to assist the customer with the inquiry.
- Suggest additional products and/or services to repair the problem and or meet the customer’s needs.
- When working the parts counter follow prescribed cash, credit, and check processing procedures of Broadway Brake Corp.
- Process cores and warranties.
- Follow up on shortages and expedite by reporting to Parts Manager.
- Should be knowledgeable in product merchandising.
- Provide service technicians with parts as required.
- Maintains the parts counter area and displays to meet or exceed Broadway Brake standards.
- Performs other tasks as required by Parts Manger.

- Sufficient manual dexterity to operate standard departmental equipment for example, operate a PC, pallet jack, dolly, fork lift, etc.
- Ability to climb ladders, stairs, stand for long durations, and walk for long distances.
- Ability to lift 100 lbs.
· Must have your own transportation to get to and from work
· Must be able to work some overtime
