Sales Representative

Broadway Equipment Company is a Minnesota-Based car wash equipment manufacturer who has better than 50% of the market share nationally for the niche market they serve-OEM franchised automotive dealers. We are seeking to grow our current Sales Force to increase our market share and mentor replacements for our upcoming retirees.

We have positions for both experienced and upcoming Sales Professionals. You will receive the training you'll need to be successful as well as have options to own an exclusive sales territory within the US. The experienced professionals could begin earning commissionable sales in 3-6 months.

In addition to car wash equipment sales, you will also be selling our Auto Butler Program. This subscription-based product pays the Rep a monthly annuity for a minimum of five years. Auto Butler sales represent the highest earning potential within our organization and is purposely structured without income limitations.

Car Wash and/or Dealership experience is helpful, but not necessary. The right individual can except to earn a respectable income commensurate to the skill they start with. We are the market leader for reason, apply today to join a winning team.

Pay range: Starting at $75,000 - $125,000/yr with opportunity for uncapped commissions

Job Description: As a Sales Associate at Broadway Equipment Company, you will play a vital role in supporting the Auto Butler Customer Retention Program and enhancing the Broadway Equipment Company Car Wash ownership experience for New Car Dealers throughout the Midwest. Our current focus is the successor of our territory consisting of Wisconsin, North Dakota, and Northern Minnesota, Other territories available. Your responsibilities will progress to include Corporate-Owned Accounts and territories across the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales (75%): Develop and maintain relationships with new car dealerships in designated markets. Promote and sell our automated car wash equipment and the Auto Butler Customer Retention Program.
• Account Management / Training (20%): Regularly engage with New Car Dealers to sell our Auto Butler Customer Retention Program. Collaborate with Dealer Staff to provide necessary Equipment Operation and Sales Training. Ensure our product presence is well represented within each account.
• Mechanical/Technical (5%): Inspect and make minor adjustments to car washing and polishing equipment. Promote Preventative Maintenance Services and Car Wash Chemicals to dealers using our equipment. Coordinate larger repair work with our Service Department and occasionally assist with Equipment Installation.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Travel throughout your territory 50-75% per month
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Organized and efficient, capable of working independently towards team goals
• Desire for a career with a business-to-business organization
• Enjoy working with a diverse range of people
• Previous experience in car dealership or car wash industry is a plus

Ideal Assets:

• Prior sales management or account management
• Background in automobile experience or car wash/automotive detailing
• Technical or college degree
