What are the responsibilities and job description for the DME Warehouse and Sanitation Technician position at Broadway Home Medical?
Broadway Home Medical is a locally owned Home Medical Equipment provider. Come be a part of a growing team! The Warehouse Technician will be responsible for the operation of the warehouse including cleaning/disinfecting, maintenance, testing, service of medical equipment, record keeping, occasional deliveries and notification of when inventory of supplies need to be ordered.
- Receive, identify and label medical equipment.
- Maintain proper storage of equipment and supply inventory.
- Coordinate equipment and supply inventory levels and communicate with HME staff.
- Maintain oxygen logs.
- Perform equipment and warehouse cleaning and overall maintenance.
- Computer literate for accurate maintenance entries
- Maintain the confidentiality of patients, families, colleagues and other sensitive situations.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and nonscheduled maintenance of equipment.
- Practice safe and proper body mechanics relative to transporting, lifting and set-up of medical equipment.
- Adhere to all safety and security policy and procedures
- Load and Unload equipment safely to assure no damage or injury.
- Immediately report to their immediate Supervisor, equipment/patient issues and needs.
- Stage and load vans for delivery of equipment.
- Hours will be from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
