Broadway San Diego – A Nederlander Presentation is seeking a Group Sales Coordinator to join our team in San Diego. If you’re passionate about live entertainment, love building relationships, and enjoy helping groups create unforgettable theater experiences, this is the perfect role for you!
WHY YOU’LL LOVE THIS ROLE:
As a Group Sales Coordinator, you’ll be the go-to person for group leaders, schools, local organizations, and social groups, helping them plan and book their Broadway experiences. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated team, support campaign initiatives, and play a key role in expanding our group sales market.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Grow Group Sales: Build relationships with existing group leaders while actively expanding the group sales market.
- Set & Exceed Goals: Establish and maintain campaign goals for individual shows.
- Support Clients: Assist with logistics, seating, and pricing to ensure every group enjoys a seamless and memorable experience.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the Patron Sales Manager, administrative staff, box office, and theater team to make every show a success.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PDFs is required.
- Ticketing Experience a Plus: Familiarity with Ticketmaster/Archtics is a bonus.
- Creative Edge: Light graphic design skills are a plus – bring your creativity to the table!
- Team Player: Collaborative spirit with a commitment to working in a diverse, fast-paced environment.
- Flexible Schedule: Available to work selected nights and weekends during show weeks.
- Bonus Skills: Administrative expertise is helpful for managing campaign details.
DETAILS & PERKS:
- Reports to: Patron Sales Manager
- Work Schedule: Part-time (up to 29.5 hours/week)
- Compensation: $22/hr
- Status: Non-Exempt
